Thomas F. Cook, CVS, FSAVE, passed away on November 29, 2018 at the age of 90.
Tom was a tireless advocate and leader of SAVE International and the Value profession. He served as a local and national officer, as Secretary of the first Certification Board, and received many SAVE honors including Distinguished Service in 1970, Fellow in 1981, and Lifetime Achievement in 2005. In the 1970’s he led the movement to customer oriented FAST and user input to improve value studies. He helped over 300 organizations improve value on a variety of products, services, and projects. His company was a founding member of the Miles Value Foundation.
