Value Engineering (VE) magazine has been issued since the start of the SAVE International Saudi Arabian Chapter back in 1992. In 1998, the Saudi Arabian Chapter became the Gulf Chapter, and it is currently the largest SAVE chapter.
The VE magazine is published by the SAVE Gulf Chapter and The Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE). It is published annually and sometimes bi-annually in both English and Arabic languages. The latest issue was published in January 2019 (Volume 8, Issue #4). SAVE’s President, Katherine Bethany, wrote an article on her view and remarks about the SAVE Gulf Chapter VE Track in December 2017. In addition, the SAVE Certification Board Chair, Bob Rude, wrote an article about the latest changes to the SAVE certification program.
