- Conduct VMBoK Chapter Reviews – The SAVE Board, Certification Board, and sub-committees will review the chapters of the VMBoK over an eight-week period. These sub-committee reviews will be facilitated by Technical Committee members and conducted virtually.
- Conduct Final VMBoK Review – The Technical Committee will perform one final, comprehensive review of the revised draft prior to submission to a professional, third-party copyeditor.
- Copyediting, Formatting and Proofreading – This effort will include a professional rewrite of the revised draft to read as one voice and to ensure that the resulting document is of high quality. It will take anywhere from three to five months to complete these activities. Also during this time, the Certification Board will be updating its standards and testing to align with the VMBoK content.
- Publication and Distribution – Once the final manuscript is ready, it will be published in electronic format (available to SAVE members as part of their membership dues) and in print.
- Establish VMBoK Chapter Review Sub-Committees – Members will be invited to participate on sub-committees consisting of not more than six at-large members per each of the 13 VMBoK chapters:
