The Planning Committee has been working hard to ‘jazz up’ the 2020 Value Summit!
The Call for Papers, Call for Interactive Continuing Education, and Call for Pre and Post Summit Workshops deadline for submissions is December 14, 2019. As per last year, we are requiring all presenters and instructors to clearly demonstrate how their paper or course ties into one of the Core Competencies. All papers and presentations will be reviewed by the Paper Review Committee. Changes may be requested. Earlier completions and submissions would be greatly appreciated. See the updated Submission Guidelines for more details.
This year we are introducing “Interactive Continuing Education” sessions. The purpose of this is to provide our membership with hands on skills, training and additional experience in the Core Competencies. These sessions are to be 1-2 hours and will be part of the main Summit tracks. Share your knowledge and experience with your peers!
We are also looking for workshop proposals. Please click here to submit a workshop proposal.
And don’t forget our Transportation Track! If you have an exciting program to share, contact Mark Gabel from the Washington Department of Transportation at gabelm@wsdot.wa.gov.
You definitely won’t want to miss the keynote speakers and Tuesday night activities.
How can you not be excited about New Orleans? There are so many things to do, such as the Oak Alley Plantation Tour, Aquarium of the Americas, and Garden District Walking and Storytelling Tour. There are many family attractions such as the National WWII Museum, French Quarter Kids, Audubon Zoon and Audubon Louisiana Nature Center.
SAVE International takes pride in recognizing the successful contributions of the value profession from industry, government and value analysis providers. Start thinking about a nomination for the 2020 Honors & Awards.
Finally, it is never to early to apply to be a sponsor and/or exhibitor at the 2020 Value Summit. Without sponsors and exhibitors, we cannot provide a quality event at a reasonable cost to our members. More information about our sponsorships and exhibitor opportunities can be found online at www.valuesummit2020.org/sponsorship.
Your enthusiastic and dedicated 2020 Value Summit Planning Committee is all jazzed up for New Orleans. Please plan on being in New Orleans, LA, June 6-9, 2020.
