The 2020 Value Summit Planning Committee has finished reviewing and evaluating all of the submissions to this years event. Based on the response that we have received this year, we are going to have a great, jam packed 2.5-day program with three full tracks planned for each day. We are jazzing up the program this year to fit everything in!
I am also excited to report that responses from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has been strong this year. Therefore, we are offering a dedicated track for them on Wednesday morning. We also have a great Transportation track on Monday, as well as Manufacturing tracks available. We will send out notices when both registration and the program schedule are posted, so stay tuned.
One thing to note, the “Interactive Continuing Education” sessions are being renamed to “Professional Development” sessions.
Speaking about New Orleans, plan on coming early and stopping in at B.B. Kings Blues Club. They offer an amazing Gospel Sunday Brunch. The music is always an amazing gospel group that raises the roof as they sing their praises, but the food is also pretty darn amazing. Just remember, they sell out, so if you want to go, you can get your tickets online. This is a great event with a group, so make some phone calls to those that you know and schedule a fabulous Sunday morning.
If that is not your cup of “coffee”, don’t forget to stop by Café du Monde for the famous chickory coffee and a beignet or two. New Orleans is famous for both of these, blues and beignets, so you can’t go wrong. Stay tuned for more exciting things to do or go online to Visit New Orleans.
Finally, it is never to early to apply to be a sponsor and/or exhibitor at the 2020 Value Summit. Without sponsors and exhibitors, we cannot provide a quality event at a reasonable cost to our members. More information about our sponsorships and exhibitor opportunities can be found online at www.valuesummit2020.org/sponsorship.
Your enthusiastic and dedicated 2020 Value Summit Planning Committee is all jazzed up for New Orleans. Please plan on being in New Orleans, LA, June 6-10, 2020.
