Yesterday I received my second shot of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine. It feels good to have some extra protection, but, as we are all aware, the battle still rages so please continue to protect yourself, your family and your neighbor.
This issue of Value World has a well written piece by SAVE International’s President, Renee Hoekstra. Renee has done an excellent job in this role and with her branding of Spread the Word about the Value Methodology (VM). In her article, she touches upon the use of the VM as the over-arching term of our profession and the services we provide following under this umbrella term. She also highlights the interest in the SAVE Board, which she has led quite well over these last two years.
But the key thing is her discussion on relationships she is forging with SPCEA, ASPE and AACE – this is critical. We are great about discussing VM with value practitioners, but we need to communicate and illuminate what VM is outside of SAVE and outside of our chapters. So, keep the good work and all those reading this, remember to do the same.
