On December 16, 2021, SAVE International announced the extension to allow virtual activities and virtual format for the Value Methodology Fundamentals 2 (VMF 2) course through December 31, 2022. (SAVE approved the allowance of a virtual format for the VMF 1 course indefinitely beginning last year.)
A summary of the CVS candidate activities allowed to be completed in virtual format through the end of 2022 is below:
- The two value studies required between taking the VMF 1 and VMF 2 courses
- All the required 240 contact hours
- The candidates’ facilitation of the three job plan phases (Function Analysis, Creativity and Evaluation)
- All the required 24 hours of facilitation training
In addition, licensed instructors are able to use a virtual teaching format for the VMF 2 course through the end of 2022, as long as they integrate the new protocols and the supplemental facilitation slides.
