Hello, everyone! I hope this article finds you well. It has been a few months since I have written an article, mainly because I was waiting to have more definite information about our next Value Summit. But I owe you all an update, so here it goes…
As I mentioned in the July 2022 article, the attendance at the 2022 Value Summit was encouraging enough that a hybrid event, with virtual and in-person capabilities, in 2023 is now being considered. The Summit planning committee has been considering several different cities, venue types, program formats, and times of the year. While we are narrowing down our options, we have not yet decided on a city and venue. We hope to do so in the next several weeks and I hope to report on our decision in next month’s issue of Value World.
We can tell you that the intent of the 2023 Value Summit is to be virtually based, but also include an in-person component. If a venue cannot be selected, then we will default to the original decision for 2023, which would be a fully virtual Summit as was done in 2020 and 2021. The Summit dates will likely be in early/mid-June 2023.
I know you were hoping to have more information at this point in time. We appreciate your patience as we consider our options. We do hope to decide on the 2023 Value Summit soon.
And while we sprint to make a decision on 2023, we have also started brainstorming possible locations for the 2024 Value Summit. Stay tuned…
