Greetings, all! I cannot believe that another month has passed. We are almost into March and the 2023 Value Summit is quickly approaching. I hope you are all planning to attend the virtual Summit and are getting excited for it.
As you know, this year’s Value Summit will be held virtually June 12-14, 2023. The exact hours of the Summit are still being considered so that they are fair to our worldwide membership, but will be finalized soon.
The call for presentations is open and the deadline for submissions (Friday, March 10) is rapidly approaching. Please consider developing a presentation to share how the Value Methodology has benefitted a particular application in your career over the last few years. You can find the full process for submitting a presentation online at www.value-eng.org/2023ValueSummit.
To keep you apprised of the development of the Summit, I am sharing with you the following approximate milestone dates:
- Monday, March 27 – presentation selections are finalized by the Value Summit planning committee and the selected presenters will be notified via email
- Friday, April 7 – schedule is published and registration opens
- Friday, May 5 – deadline for selected presenters to submit their video presentation
As the development of the Summit continues, you will receive email notifications and the Summit website will be updated. I will also include updates in my articles for Value World through the coming months. Please pay attention to all these sources to stay abreast of the Summit information.
The planning committee is working hard to deliver a Value Summit that will be beneficial and enjoyable to you. We look forward to seeing you virtually in June.
