The SAVE International U.S. Advocacy for Value (USAV) committee is working to grow owner emphasis, and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Small Business Conference (SBC), being held November 20-22, 2024 in New Orleans, is an excellent opportunity to begin emphasizing how we can help owner agencies achieve their goals and deliver value for taxpayers.
SAVE and SAME have a partnering agreement with a goal of supporting one another. Your attendance at the SBC will not only benefit you but also show your support of our partnering goals! This conference is a great way to grow, develop, and network with a wide range of federal agencies and architect-engineer firms that will be present.
SAME is expecting a record turnout this year, and there will be a VE/VM presentation on “Opportunities for Maximizing Stakeholder Value”. This is your chance to hear from a major owner in the value industry and leverage this discussion with other agencies and private sector firms. The goal of the presentation is to focus on what value means, the opportunities areas where VE and other value activities can help, and how to align stakeholder expectations in the pursuit of value. The SBC includes not only presentations like this one, but a great deal of information and networking opportunities for growing business with federal agencies.
Federal agencies in attendance will include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC), the National Guard, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Energy, General Services Administration (GSA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in addition to several SAVE members, and more!
The SBC website has a breadth of information, including the Schedule, an Exhibit Hall Floorplan, and a Justification Toolkit to see how you can benefit from attendance. Register today!
