Membership – it is the great focus of every professional society. So, what does it mean to you and me individually? And, what does it mean to SAVE International as an organization?
SAVE offers each of us an identity as a professional – we are value specialists. This organization gives us legitimacy in a world full of certified and licensed professionals.
SAVE fosters interaction with those who perform value studies and those who have been given the mandate to learn about and execute a value program.
SAVE offers opportunities to learn – through training, annual value summits, publications and e-learning media that give variation based on our depth of expertise.
And, what of the society from the organization’s perspective? SAVE is needy too. SAVE needs volunteers to drive this profession to new heights. SAVE needs financial resources to execute the exciting programs we are developing; to deliver interesting, educational and fun annual value summits; and to respond to the continuing requests from our members for new products and activities.
We are in the midst of a very serious and complicated analysis of our individual and corporate membership fees, benefits, linkage to certifications and relationships to other value societies globally. We are thinking forward, comparing our very old approach to the current ways other professional societies offer value to their members to define how we can improve for you and for the organization. We have even postponed the rollout of our new SAVE website so that we can link everything together – membership, benefits, sponsorships, exhibitor and advertising opportunities.
We want you, as our so very valued members, to understand what SAVE can do for you and we want your support to make SAVE the society to which you love to belong, and will commit your time and your expertise.
Thank you!
