2025 U.S. Advocacy for Value (USAV) Symposium

By Renee Hoekstra, CVS – Acting Director, SAVE International U.S. Advocacy for Value Committee

Happy New Year! The SAVE International U.S. Advocacy for Value (USAV) Committee will be hosting a symposium on May 14-15, 2025 in Washington, DC. This will be a golden opportunity to engage with our U.S. government partners, as well as our value community. Here’s a sneak peek at our initial program:

  • Value Focus: How current policies and laws support the mission of efficient and effective stewardship of taxpayer resources.
  • Value Management: Expectations for the adoption of value management programs government-wide and reporting successes to align with the current Administration’s goals.
  • USACE Success: Insights into USACE’s value program and how their approach can help other agencies develop similar programs.
  • Federal Engagement: Hear from other Federal agencies about embracing value through the A131 and A11 Circulars.
  • Non-Infrastructure Applications: Learn about using VE/VM to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of various programs.

Stay tuned for more updates, including our awards invitation for delivering effective and efficient government programs. We’ll celebrate with an awards reception during the Symposium.

Registration will open next week! Don’t forget, the Symposium will be a hybrid event if you can’t travel.  However, we’d love to see as many of you as possible in person. Looking forward to another outstanding event!

Wishing you all a wonderful and productive 2025!
