This year the Value Community around the world celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Value Engineering, which was invented by L. D. Miles in 1947. In addition, it will be the 50th Annual Conference for the Society of Japanese Value Engineering (SJVE).
In order to strengthen cooperation in the Value Engineering field and focus on Asian countries where enjoy significant economic developments, SJVE is hosting the 6th Asian VE Conference under the auspices of SAVE International. The Conference will be held October 24-25, 2017 in Tokyo, Japan.

- The first day will have one general session with keynote speeches and award winning presentations. Networking party is also scheduled at a nearby restaurant.
- The second day will have 5 concurrent tracks. Three tracks out of 5 will have Japanese-English translation service. No additional charge will be required to use the translation service for internationals. You will have more opportunity to attend and listen to different sessions.
- Interactive opportunity with Japanese Value Engineers – Hands-on VE workshop on Function Analysis (Part I) and Idea Generation (Part II) – will be back!
- These two interactive sessions were well-received at the 49th SJVE Conference last year. This year attendees are not only Japanese. International participants are also welcome! The only prerequisite is to have “Google Translate App” downloaded onto your Smartphone or iPhone! No advanced registration required.
